This painting captures the amazing experience we had snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Such a surprise to have a sea turtle swim right up to us to check us out and then just casually swim away.

I poured bright acrylic paints together to represent the colourful coral and plant life, and used the natural flow of the paints to portray the gentle movement of the water and plant life.
