‘Peonies’ is another experimentation away from my normal precise and realistic painting style. I wanted to capture the delicate and flowing nature of the petals of these beautiful flowers, using soft pastel shades and colours, to reflect a feeling of serenity and tranquility.

My intention with this painting is to bring the viewer into a more peaceful and calmer place, where they can relax and stand still for a while.
