Doggy Blues

I’ve always like drawing dogs, as I love dogs and have, over the years, owned two. I can remember as a teenager, borrowing lots of books on dogs from the local library so that I could draw and paint pictures of the various breeds.

So, when I started my art journey again, it was only natural that one of my first pieces was this charcoal drawing of a pug dog. I’m thinking maybe he’s sad that his owner has gone to work, and he has no one to play with.
