Georgie

Oils on canvas

My grand daughter Georgie is an exotic mix of Chinese, Dutch, Irish and New Zealander, and was born with the wildest, untamed hair. Unfortunately, this has now grown out so I wanted to capture the memory of it in a portrait painting. I've also added the dandelion into the painting to complement and further underline the soft and flyaway nature of Georgie's hair.
