Fence-sitting parrots
Acrylics on canvas
A fun painting where I played with bright colours and paint thickness to create the brilliance and texture of these rainbow lorikeet parrots' colourful plumage.
I also applied paint thickly to portray the roughness of the wooden fence planks and the lichen growing on them.
Size: 40cm x 30cm
