Bailey In Wonderland

A fun painting for my five-year old granddaughter. After seeing a beautiful Russian Folk Art biscuit tin, of Alice in Wonderland on the lid, I wanted to create something similar, but replacing Alice’s face with Bailey’s.

A difficult task firstly because of the small size of the face and area to work in, and secondly painting what Bailey would look like at Alice’s age – seven and half years old.

Bailey and her family were thrilled with the result, and she had such fun pointing out the characters in the painting as we watched the Disney Alice in Wonderland movie together on TV.
