I’ve always loved putting pinks and purples colours together, and by introducing the turquoise, this has resulted in a sensational explosion of brilliant colours.

To add more impact and to create depth and texture for the feathers, I’ve used palette knives to thickly apply these bright acrylic paint colours to the canvas.
