Another exercise in loosening up my painting style, and a chance to try out using mainly a palette knife to apply paint to the canvas. Ended up being a lot of fun and really happy with the final result.

I wanted the lion’s eyes to be the focus of the painting, and tried to create depth and detail to them, to draw in the viewer’s attention.
