My grand daughter Georgie is an exotic mix of Chinese, Dutch, Irish and New Zealander, and was born with the wildest, untamed hair.

Unfortunately, this has now grown out so I wanted to capture the memory of it in a portrait painting.

I’ve also added the dandelion into the painting to complement and further underline the soft and flyaway nature of Georgie’s hair.
