This painting was commissioned by the children of the couple who are featured in front of the business they recently retired from. They wanted to give their parents’ a unique way to remember those 9 years in the business.

I would have to say that because their faces were so small, this presented the greatest challenged I have had yet, to reflect an accurate likeness of them and their personalities. Many, many versions and hours later, I finally felt happy with the results, as were the subjects and their family.
