After viewing some amazing paintings from local artists when in Munich last year, I challenged myself to paint something in a similar ‘more modern, free and relaxed style’. I chose Freddie Mercury from the icon band Queen because he is one of my husband’s favourite performers, and I personalised the painting by using bold colours to convey the singer’s powerful voice and energy.
